TODAY I WORKED MY FIRST PAC SHIFT!!! It was a lot of fun! I got to stand around and interact with guests while telling them where to we the parade and fireworks and answering other questions and just chatting! It was super cool. But I was also late. So I got my first half point from it…. I picked up the shift sitting at the bus stop waiting to go to Walmart. Then I realized I was pushing it to get groceries and come back and get to it his shift on time. So I took the bus to Walmart (a first) then ran home and out stuff away. Though my ice cream melted and made a HUGE mess. So I cleaned that up and ran to the bus stop. Then waited forever for the bus to come. Then went to costuming and got the costume and eventually found where I needed to be. After getting lost in the tunnels. I also forgot my name tag…. But I worked with this really cool guy who was also kind of cute… He even lent me his name tag.

Though I did miss my run today because I picked up the shift and I also got invited to dinner and drinks with people from work. Oh we’ll, hopefully next time ill be able to go. And I’ll just run tomorrow.

It has also been a really slow, and wet week. Monday was Epcot’s birthday, which I went to after work and was fun (the fireworks were amazing!!). Then Tuesday we rented out even less boats then we did on Monday. I kind of hope tomorrow is busy, but it is also nice to just hang out. But then I have Friday off so I guess I can handle one day.

So the last few days have been super crazy. Well I guess not crazy but very long. I was originally scheduled to be on the dock all week. Then I switched Tuesday to arcade so a coworker could go to Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party (which I feel like I am the only person that hasn’t gone but I’m not paying to go when I’m going when my parents come visit next month.) So then Wednesday whoever was closing the arcade called in. So I was asked to extend and I did so I worked until midnight. Which was fun because someone was training and I didn’t have to close by myself. Then Thursday the arcade closer called in again. So I extended and closed again. This wasn’t as exciting because I was by myself for most of the night and we were ridiculously busy. Like I was dealing with 5 people at a time more then once. Then today I worked dock again. Which is cool, but not a lot of sleep. Then tomorrow morning I’m running a 5k bright and early then working special event staff for the Tower of Terror 10 miler. Until 2 am. Then work dock Sunday morning. So there hasn’t been a lot of sleep lately but I’ve been enjoying things (mostly) and if nothing else my pay check will rock!

I’ve been getting lots of mail lately! Today I got 3 letters and yesterday I got a package with cookies! It was real exciting. Today I am very tired. I had a training today from 6-9 am and then worked after until 6. It was a LONG day.

We also have this guy who works on the dock who is new (well to me anyways.) he keeps trying to go out and work in different locations/roles. But he keeps being unsuccessful and coming back. He reminds me of campers I have had where I don’t trust them to do anything by themselves and feel the need to step on constantly….

But I have tomorrow off and I had a massage yesterday so life is good!!
